All guests operating an ATV must be 16 years old and licensed to operate a vehicle.
Our weather can be unpredictable, we recommend our guests wear appropriate footwear, wear warm clothes, and dress in layers.
Cameras and binoculars are helpful, but remember to bring sturdy camera cases and extra batteries.
Helmets are required by all riders and passengers, based on provincial law.
All operators of our equipment are required to sign a waiver and those under the age of 18 must have signed parental consent.

The ATV tour takes you inland on the Bonavista Peninsula along trail systems you simply cannot reach by road, including sections of the Newfoundland T'railway. An experienced guide leads the group through bog, wilderness, ponds, and coastal terrain. You may encounter moose, beavers, ducks, foxes, and a variety of local birds. It's a completely different side of Newfoundland than the ocean tours. All safety equipment is provided. The tour uses our Segway ATVs. Group size is limited, so book in advance if you're planning an ATV day alongside a boat tour.
No prior ATV experience is required. Your guide will walk you through the controls and safety procedures before you set out. The terrain ranges from flat trail to moderate off-road sections, nothing extreme, but proper footwear is a must. Wear closed-toe shoes or boots, and dress for the weather. If you have specific mobility concerns, give us a call before booking and we can talk through what the tour involves physically.

Booking both in advance is the best way to ensure you get the times you want, particularly in July and August when both tours are popular.
